Warehousing in MENA region is forecasted to grow. The current demand supply gap shows additional appetite for new warehouse developments, modernisation of existing facilities, equitable distribution of facilities as there are pockets where oversupply is leading to fall of rentals and in others the demand outstripping supply is leading to an escalation of prices. In addition to this there is increased demand for new developments to European standards, people are increasingly looking for built to suit spaces. Ecommerce, Fashion, Food, Temperature controlled storage will be the other pockets that will demand additional space suited to their business models. Needless to say the 3PL and industrial inhouse demand will continue in the parallel.
